How do you deal with fear?

Posted on Jan 19th, 2009 by Rosie : World Changer Rosie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 19, 2009:

"Perfect love drives out all fear'" 1 John 4:18 "For we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of a sound mind." 2 Tim 1:7 When I fear the unknown, the unexpected, or even the dark, I have to remind myself of the promises God says. There's no reason for me to fear, He has my back.

I am thankful today for my sister. She is so very annoying but I love her and she challenges me and stretches me. I love her and am thankful to have her in my life. She flavors my life.

What has your recent relationship to money been like?

Posted on Jan 13th, 2009 by Rosie : World Changer Rosie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 13, 2009:

I believe the love of money is the root of all evil; therefore, I don't particularly love it but enjoy it. I've learned to be content with or without it. Over the past few weeks, I've noticed that the more I give, the more I reieve of it. I can literally walk into church on a Sunday morning with 6 dollars, give 5, and recieve a 178 dollar check in the mail later on inthe week. Its pretty awesome because I get to pay my phone bill this month. So I've reaped what I've sown, and more, and after I sowed it. This is a relationship I want to always continue with my money; and as I tithe I want to be blessed and recieve more money and blessings from God.

If you had to pick another religion to practice, what would it be

Posted on Jan 12th, 2009 by Rosie : World Changer Rosie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 12, 2009:

At the moment, I am Christian. If I didn't acknowledge the grace recieved through Jesus Christ, my next preferred religion would probably be an Eastern one. There are a lot of perks to the Hindu religion (Westernized, not strict.) I would also make up my own relgion as well, or maybe even be agnostic. The idea of a God that isnt personal takes a lot off my shoulders (typical.) Thus, any other religion except Islam would probably appeal to me, as they did before my rebirth/conversion.

Where do you find the sacred in your life?

Posted on Jan 7th, 2009 by Rosie : World Changer Rosie
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 07, 2009:

The sacred and conseccrated in my life is found witin myself, although there is nothing of myself to make it be. The Holy Spirit of God, his gift to mankind is within me inside my heart. The holiest, most sacred thing in all the universe is in my heart.

I hadn't been to New york since I moved down to Florida two and a half years ago. This November 08 i was finally able to go back and visit my friends and relatives. I booked my own flight and a few days later I was on my way. It was spontaneaous and fun. I felt free. The trip also reassured me that I had made the righ descision moving down to Florida, because although I missed it, I wouldn't trade in all that I have learned and gained in my new home.
